Good news everyone!

Good evening meme mappers, it was another busy day setting up somethings and slowly iterating and creating a more refined experience on Famous Meme Maps. While this site tries to grow it's best to be out there and make as many connections as possible so I figured it would be a great idea to add more social presence to this community. With that in mind I've gone back to Instagram and setup a profile to promote Famous Meme Maps. I'm hoping this avenue of discovery will help grow the site and tantalize fellow memers to come into this year of our lord, 2022, and start working with interactive memes!

Another such social presence I would like to highlight is a creator account on Patreon which will be used to solicit donations from memers to help offset server costs. Famous Meme Maps is currently ad free but as popularity increases it might become less viable for me to keep the costs to myself. As the cost of the service keeps climbing, very minimal amount of advertisements might be added too to get a few extra dollars to offset these charges. Hosting a website means I have to rent out other peoples' computers and use those to serve the site. These providers in turn makes sure the server is always on and accessible through the world-wide web, it's something called a Uptime SLA, and I'd like to keep Famous Meme Maps running smoothly and without disruption so we can appease that of all the memelords.

While this announcement will always be here to find these social media accounts, these and any future added social media accounts can be found on the Contact page of Famous Meme Maps. The contact link is always conveniently in the footer of the site (when not viewing an interactive map) so you can find and contact Famous Meme Maps easily. The contact page has a convenient e-mail form if you're not on social, as well as links to both Instagram and Patreon. In the footer you'll also notice the GitHub link, that's to report any features you want or any bugs you encounter.
